Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed their deep concern for the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza due to the continuous Israeli military offensive. This shared concern was emphasized during the official meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS) during Prabowo’s state visit to the Kingdom. The two nations have agreed to enhance coordination to provide emergency aid and broader humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

The joint statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) underscored the dedication of both countries to continue providing humanitarian aid and support for the recovery efforts in response to the Israeli aggression. In addition to addressing the situation in Gaza, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia also reiterated their commitment to strengthening cooperation in maintaining international stability and security. They pledged to collaborate in promoting regional peace and bolstering global resilience.

The meeting took place at Al-Salam Palace in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, underscoring the robust strategic relationship between the two countries. Images released by SPA depicted President Prabowo and Crown Prince MBS engaged in discussions, with the flags of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia prominently displayed in the background.
