Celebrating Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s First Home Grand Prix with Bespoke Nike Dunk Low Trainers
Nike has recently unveiled an ultra-limited pair of Dunk Low trainers to commemorate the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s first home grand prix, reported by Hypebeast. The exclusive footwear is custom-made for Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss and his wife, Cassidy Towriss, who serves as the chief brand advisor.
Unique Design Inspired by Miami Grand Prix Livery
The design of the bespoke trainers reflects the special Miami Grand Prix livery of the American team, featuring a monochrome theme with stars on the side of the heel. Cadillac branding is prominently displayed on the tongue and heel of the shoe, adding a touch of exclusivity to the overall look.
In response to the unique design, Cassidy Towriss expressed that the special Miami livery is a seamless extension that embodies confidence and purpose. She emphasized the importance of maintaining the team’s identity while offering fans something familiar yet innovative, especially as they gear up for their first home race.
Cadillac’s Debut at the Miami Grand Prix
As Cadillac participates in its maiden home Formula 1 race at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, the team faced challenges in the sprint race with Sergio Perez finishing 16th and Valtteri Bottas in 19th. These results position the team at the back of the grid for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, with Perez lining up 19th and Bottas in 20th.
CEO Dan Towriss shared his excitement about racing at home for the first time, highlighting the significance of representing the United States as an American team. Despite their current position in the constructors’ standings, the team remains determined to showcase their best performance in front of their home supporters and elevate their ranking in the competition.
