Vice Regent of Pangandaran Ujang Endin Indrawan received a positive response from the National Mandate Party (PAN) ahead of the 2024 Regional Election. This was directly conveyed by the Chairman of DPP PAN, Bima Arya.
In his political safari to the PAN Pangandaran DPD, the former Mayor of Bogor provided positive energy for Ujang’s candidacy for Vice Regent.
“There is a winning aura here in the Bupati Election together with Cabup UE and with the Pangandaran team,” said Bima to reporters on Thursday (6/27/2024).
He said that this opportunity may lead to fulfilling the destiny and glory of PAN in West Java in 2008. “If PAN cadres in the regions also win the Regional Election, it will certainly affect the victory in West Java,” he said.
In addition, UE’s figure is considered worthy and suitable to lead Pangandaran for the next term. “I know Mr. Vice Regent well, I used to meet him at regional head forums, he is calm but his direct maneuver as a Vice Regent candidate is extraordinary,” he said.
According to him, UE’s figure could be taken into account by the DPP PAN for future recommendations in the 2024 Regional Election.
“Yes, of course, everything will eventually narrow down. The decision will be determined by the strongest electability, the highest acceptance, and the solidarity from within the party. I think the DPP PAN will make its choice rationally. Although currently the DPP PAN has released two recommended names,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the PAN Pangandaran DPD, Hamdi, said that Ujang Endin indeed received direct support from the 10 DPCs in Pangandaran Regency.
“All of them support from the 10 existing DPCs. We also declared our support for Ujang Endin. There was no coercion involved,” he said.
He said that the declaration made by the executives was purely an initiative from the PAN Pangandaran DPC. “Regarding the two recommended names that were released, that is a mechanism that we respect,” he said.
“The most important thing is that PAN is solid, there is Ujang Endin and Ino. We respect that decision,” he continued.
Vice Regent of Pangandaran Ujang Endin expressed his appreciation to the PAN DPD officials who declared their support. “I appreciate the support from the PAN DPD and the PAN DPC executives for me,” Ujang said.
He said this was a grassroots strength. “The DPCs declared their support for me,” he said.
In addition, Ujang also received good response from the Chairman of DPP PAN, Bima Arya, for his candidacy as Vice Regent of Pangandaran.
“I also received support from Bima Arya. This is certainly important for how to move forward with more enthusiasm,” he concluded.
