FP2 WSBK Prancis: Bulega Hapus Rekor Gerloff – Ringkas Debut Penuh Aksi

Jonathan Rea Finishes Strong in French WSBK FP2

Jonathan Rea showcased his strength in the second free practice session of the World Superbike Championship held in France. Despite facing tough competition from his rivals, Rea managed to secure a top position, finishing in the top ten.

Top contender Toprak Razgatlioglu continued his impressive performance, setting the pace in the first 15 minutes of the session under clearer skies. Nicolo Bulega, his rival, also put up a strong performance, securing a place in the top four.

The Lowes brothers once again proved their worth on the track, with Alex Lowes finishing in second place and his twin brother, Sam, comfortably in fifth place.

As the session approached the final 20 minutes, Bulega displayed his fighting spirit on the Ducati Panigale V4R, climbing to second place. However, Alvaro Bautista, who initially showed promise, had to settle for seventh place, four spots behind Jonathan Rea.

With only 20 minutes remaining, Bulega was the closest contender to Razgatlioglu, trailing by just 0.218 seconds, making him the only competitor capable of challenging the leader.

As the clock ticked down to 12 minutes, Danilo Petrucci managed to shake up the top five, moving into third place behind Razgatlioglu and Bulega.

However, Razgatlioglu lost his position at a critical moment, dropping to fourth place with Bulega taking the lead. Sam Lowes and Andrea Locatelli followed closely behind.

Despite efforts from the Turkish rider to reclaim his position, he was unsuccessful, especially after Andrea Iannone’s crash brought out the yellow flag.

In the end, the top ten included Bulega, Sam Lowes, Locatelli, Razgatlioglu, Petrucci, Alex Lowes, Jonathan Rea, Xavi Vierge, Alvaro Bautista, and Remy Gardner.

The second free practice session in France was a thrilling battle, setting the stage for an exciting World Superbike Championship event.
